These rubberised competition weight discs are made for intensive use in competitive sports and strength training. Thanks to the rubber coating, ground surfaces in exercise rooms and sports halls are optimally protected should a disc come off. They also make much less noise. A stainless steel ring in the hole makes putting them onto the barbell easier.
